Atlantic Group is hiring an International Tax Manager (Partner Tax) in Boston, MA with our client. This hybrid role manages global tax planning and compliance for partners and employees across multiple jurisdictions, including cross-border taxation, advisor coordination, and planning strategies. Ideal candidates offer strong technical expertise, extensive cross-border experience, and a background in professional services.

Responsibilities as the International Tax Manager:

  • Partner Tax Support: Advise firm partners and employees working abroad on compliance and international tax planning.
  • Global Tax Planning: Manage cross-border tax compliance and planning strategies across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Advisor Oversight: Coordinate external advisors, interpret guidance, and integrate strategies into the firm’s framework.
  • Cross Collaboration: Partner with HR, Finance, and Legal teams to assess tax implications of global mobility.
  • Compliance & Documentation: Develop and maintain tax solutions in line with best practices and international tax principles.
  • Knowledge Development: Expand expertise in international and cross-border tax rules to deliver proactive solutions.

Qualifications for the International Tax Manager:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
  • Experience: 6-10 years in international tax with a focus on individual taxation, cross-border planning, or global mobility, with prior experience supporting High-Net-Worth Individuals preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency with tax research platforms and tools such as Thomson Reuters Checkpoint and other digital research engines.
  • Industry Knowledge: Strong expertise in cross-border taxation, global mobility, and partner-level tax planning.
  • Skills & Attributes: Highly analytical with strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills, demonstrating integrity, discretion, and a proactive mindset with flexibility across time zones.
