Job Overview – Internal Audit Manager:
Compensation: $110,000 – $130,000/year + bonus
Location: Montgomery County, PA
Schedule: Monday to Friday (Hybrid)

Atlantic Group is hiring an Internal Audit Manager in Montgomery County, PA for our client, a leading financial services organization. This hybrid role oversees internal audits, risk assessments, and compliance initiatives to enhance internal controls and operational efficiency. You will lead and mentor audit staff, collaborate with senior leadership and external auditors, and drive ongoing improvements across audit processes.

Responsibilities as the Internal Audit Manager:

  • Team Leadership: Lead, train, and mentor internal audit staff while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and integrity.
  • Audit Planning & Execution: Oversee and perform audits across financial, operational, and IT processes to ensure strong internal controls and effective risk management.
  • Risk & Compliance Oversight: Assess and monitor organizational risks, ensure compliance with policies and regulations, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Reporting & Communication: Prepare and deliver clear audit reports to senior leadership, summarizing key findings, risks, and proposed remediation steps.
  • Process Improvement: Drive continuous improvement by refining audit methodologies and identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency and cost effectiveness.

Qualifications for the Internal Audit Manager:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field required.
  • Experience: 5+ years of accounting or auditing experience, including at least 1 year in a leadership role, with preferred experience in corporate or operational audits.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in AuditBoard and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) with strong quantitative and analytical skills.
  • Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of COSO and SOX frameworks, with experience in risk assessment, property management, and financial reporting.
  • Skills & Attributes: Demonstrates strong organization, analytical thinking, and communication skills while maintaining professionalism and adaptability in fast-paced environments.
