Are you looking for an exciting opportunity in the tax field? Our client in Boston, MA, is seeking an Indirect Tax Analyst to join their team. This hybrid role offers significant growth opportunities and the chance to contribute to a high-caliber tax team.

Location: Boston, MA
Compensation: $60,000-$80,000/year
Schedule: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday (Hybrid)

Responsibilities as the Indirect Tax Analyst:

  • Prepare indirect tax workpapers, sales/use tax analysis, and property tax payments.
  • Handle data preparation for tax compliance, including Canada GST/HST/PST.
  • Conduct state and local tax research.
  • Assist with audits and maintaining tax processes.
  • Manage exemption certificates and support special projects.
  • Maintain tax calendar and track inquiries.

Qualifications for the Indirect Tax Analyst:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 1-2 years of related experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities with attention to detail.
  • Experience with Vertex software preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Self-motivated with a strong sense of urgency.
  • Committed to self-development and continuous learning.
