Job Overview – Head of Distribution (Wealth Channel)
Compensation: $200,000 – $250,000/year + bonus
Location: Stamford, CT
Schedule: Monday to Friday
Atlantic Group is hiring a Head of Distribution (Wealth Channel) in Stamford, CT for our client, supporting fundraising, distribution strategy, and relationship management across the RIA and wealth advisory channel. This role leads sales efforts focused on driving asset growth, building key relationships, and establishing a scalable distribution platform. The position offers the opportunity to build and lead a sales function within a growing investment management firm.
Responsibilities as the Head of Distribution (Wealth Channel):
- Sales Leadership: Lead distribution efforts across the RIA and intermediary channel to drive asset growth.
- Relationship Management: Build and maintain relationships with advisors, platforms, and key stakeholders.
- Fundraising Strategy: Develop and execute sales strategies to generate new business and expand AUM.
- Team Development: Recruit, manage, and develop sales professionals to support growth initiatives.
- Pipeline Management: Track sales activity, manage pipeline performance, and drive accountability.
- Product Positioning: Partner with leadership to refine messaging and positioning of investment offerings.
Qualifications for the Head of Distribution (Wealth Channel):
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or a related field required.
- Experience: 10 – 20 years of experience in asset management or wealth management with a focus on fundraising.
- Industry Knowledge: Experience covering RIAs, family offices, or intermediary distribution channels required.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with investment products including funds, SMAs, and related structures.
- Skills & Attributes: Strong leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills with a results-driven mindset.
