Job Overview – Growth Equity Associate:
Compensation: $140,000 – $180,000/year + bonus

Schedule: Monday to Friday (Hybrid)

Atlantic Group is hiring a Growth Equity Associate for our client in New York, NY (Hybrid). In this high-impact role, you will drive growth equity transactions through industry research, financial modeling, and investment analysis. You will evaluate opportunities, structure deals, and manage portfolio performance using platforms like Bloomberg, PitchBook, FactSet, Token Terminal, and Dune Analytics.

Responsibilities as the Growth Equity Associate:

  • Research & Market Analysis: Conduct industry and company research using Bloomberg, PitchBook, FactSet, Token Terminal, Dune Analytics, Artemis, and related platforms.
  • Investment Evaluation & Execution: Support deal structuring, negotiation, financing, and execution of growth equity transactions.
  • Financial Modeling & Valuation: Build advanced financial models to assess investment opportunities, including LBOs, take-privates, and minority investments.
  • Performance Analysis & Reporting: Perform company-level analysis (cohort analysis, revenue waterfalls, margin bridges) and prepare materials for Investment Committee presentations.
  • Portfolio Monitoring & Support: Track portfolio company performance and support post-investment value creation initiatives.

Qualifications for the Growth Equity Associate:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related quantitative field is required.
  • Experience: 2-4 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, growth equity, venture capital, or a highly analytical finance environment.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Bloomberg, PitchBook, FactSet, Excel financial modeling, and valuation tools, with exposure to crypto or digital assets platforms (Token Terminal, Dune Analytics, Artemis).
  • Skills & Attributes: Strong analytical and communication skills, with excellent attention to detail, sound judgment, and the ability to manage multiple high-priority projects in a fast-paced, collaborative investment environment.
