Job Overview – Fund Operations Analyst:
Compensation: $75,000 – $130,000/year + bonus
Location: New York, NY
Schedule: Monday to Friday (Hybrid)
Atlantic Group is hiring a Fund Operations Analyst in New York (Hybrid) to support the operational and financial functions of our client. In this role, you will gain hands-on exposure to trade reconciliations, financial statement preparation, tax calculations, and SEC filings while working closely with the Senior Operations Analyst and Controller. This position is ideal for candidates with strong accounting or operations experience seeking career growth in hedge fund and financial services operations.
Responsibilities as the Fund Operations Analyst:
- Reporting & Analysis: Prepare daily and monthly risk, performance, and financial reports to support decision-making.
- Reconciliation: Perform daily trade reconciliations and ensure accuracy across fund activity.
- Financial Operations: Assist with financial statements, track monthly performance, fees, and expenses, and calculate withholding taxes.
- Regulatory Compliance: Support SEC filings and related reporting requirements.
- Investor & Cash Management: Respond to investor requests, process invoices, and prepare wire transfers.
Qualifications for the Fund Operations Analyst:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
- Experience: 1-5 years of relevant experience in fund operations or accounting required.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, with QuickBooks experience preferred.
- Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with hedge funds and financial services operations.
- Skills & Attributes: Strong organizational abilities, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
