Job Overview – Fund Finance Manager (Private Credit):
Compensation: $165,000 – $185,000/year + bonus
Location: New York, NY
Schedule: Monday to Friday (Hybrid)
Atlantic Group is hiring a Fund Finance Manager (Private Credit) for our client’s private credit platform in New York, NY (Hybrid). In this role, you will oversee credit facilities and liquidity operations, support debt financing execution, and collaborate closely with investment, operations, and compliance teams. You’ll drive cash flow optimization, automate reporting workflows, and enhance fund performance using platforms like VPM, IVP, Kyriba, and Excel-based dashboards.
Responsibilities as the Fund Finance Manager:
- Credit Facility & Liquidity Management: Oversee daily credit line activity, borrowing base calculations, and fund liquidity in coordination with traders and portfolio managers.
- Financing & Deal Execution: Support structuring and negotiation of credit facilities, model leverage impact, and manage relationships with lenders and counsel.
- Reporting & Cash Flow: Own daily liquidity and pipeline reporting, optimize cash and collateral across custodians and prime brokers.
- Cross-Functional Coordination: Serve as point of contact for deal funding logistics, collaborating with deal, valuation, and compliance teams.
- Automation & Oversight: Streamline reporting processes, implement workflow automation, and manage offshore support deliverables.
Qualifications for the Fund Finance Manager:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline required.
- Experience: 6-10 years of fund finance experience, preferably within a BDC, private credit fund, or direct lending platform, with expertise in credit facility management and liquidity oversight.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in borrowing base calculations, credit modeling, and liquidity tracking, with working knowledge of VPM, IVP, Kyriba, and advanced Excel dashboards.
- Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of private credit structures, lender negotiations, BDC and LP compliance requirements, and fund operations.
- Skills & Attributes: Detail-oriented and proactive with excellent communication, analytical problem-solving skills, and a collaborative, solutions-first approach.
