Job Overview – Fund Finance Associate (Private Equity)
Compensation: $130,000 – $165,000/year + bonus

Schedule: Monday to Friday (In-Office)
Atlantic Group is hiring a Fund Finance Associate (Private Equity) in New York, NY for our client, supporting private equity fund accounting, portfolio valuations, financial reporting, and investment activity. The Fund Finance Associate will work across multiple investment funds while coordinating with fund administrators and internal finance teams on capital activity, reporting, and quarterly valuations. This role combines traditional fund accounting responsibilities with meaningful exposure to private equity valuation and transaction processes.
Responsibilities as the Fund Finance Associate (Private Equity):
- Fund Accounting: Support fund accounting activities, capital accounts, management fees, expense allocations, and third-party administrator reporting across private equity funds.
- Portfolio Valuations: Assist with quarterly portfolio valuations, financial analysis, supporting schedules, and related reporting processes.
- Capital Activity: Prepare and review capital calls, distributions, investor allocations, and other fund-related transactions.
- Financial Reporting: Support NAV reporting, financial statements, investor reporting, and recurring audit requirements.
- Transaction Support: Assist with accounting and finance activities related to investments, transactions, and other portfolio activity.
- Fund Operations: Monitor fund-level financial activity and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on reporting, operational initiatives, and process improvements.
Qualifications for the Fund Finance Associate (Private Equity):
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required, CPA certification is preferred.
- Experience: 4+ years of fund accounting or related finance experience within private equity, private credit, public accounting, or a combination of public and private experience is required.
- Industry Knowledge: Strong knowledge of private equity fund accounting, portfolio valuations, capital activity, financial reporting, fund structures, and investment transactions is required.
- Technical Skills: Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience with financial modeling, fund accounting systems, valuation analysis, and financial reporting tools are required.
- Skills & Attributes: Strong analytical, accounting, communication, organization, attention to detail, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills are required.
