Job Overview – FP&A Analyst:
Compensation: $95,000 – $125,000/year + bonus
Location: Stamford, CT
Schedule: Monday to Friday (In-Office)

Atlantic Group is hiring an FP&A Analyst in Stamford, CT with our client. This in-office role oversees driver-based forecasting, financial modeling, KPI dashboards, cash flow analysis, and board-level reporting. You will support SEC-related analytics, SOX controls, budgeting, investor reporting, and data automation. Strong Excel and Power BI skills, investment management FP&A experience, and familiarity with GAAP, SOX governance, and tools like Power Query and Copilot are strongly preferred.

Responsibilities as the FP&A Analyst:

  • Forecasting & Modeling: Own driver-based forecasts for P&L, cash flow, and KPIs while aligning models to actual results and supporting scenario and sensitivity analyses.
  • Cash Flow & Liquidity Management: Maintain short-term cash flow forecasts, document assumptions, assess liquidity needs, and analyze variance drivers.
  • Reporting & Executive Support: Produce board-ready decks, KPI reporting, budget vs. actual analyses, and presentation materials for senior leadership and SEC-related discussions.
  • Data Automation & Controls: Build and enhance Power BI dashboards, drive reporting automation, maintain tie-out workpapers, and support SOX model governance and audit readiness.
  • Portfolio, Budgeting & Support: Analyze portfolio performance, support budgeting and reforecasting cycles, maintain GP economics reporting, and deliver ad-hoc financial and strategic analysis.

Qualifications for the FP&A Analyst:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field required.
  • Experience: 2-5 years in FP&A or financial analysis, ideally within investment management or financial services with strong modeling and forecasting exposure.
  • Technical Skills: Advanced Excel, Power Query, Power BI, and PowerPoint, with experience using Microsoft Copilot or other agentic AI tools preferred.
  • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with GAAP, public-company reporting cycles, SOX model governance, KPI and driver-based frameworks, and working with external advisors.
  • Skills & Attributes: Strong analytical and modeling skills with high attention to detail, a proactive mindset, and excellent communication abilities.
