Compensation: $100,000 – $115,000/year + bonus
Location: Delaware County, PA
Schedule: Monday to Friday (Hybrid)

Atlantic Group is hiring a Financial Reporting Associate (SEC) in Delaware County, PA for our client, supporting external financial reporting, SEC filings, and disclosure management initiatives within a publicly traded corporate environment. This hybrid role will partner with finance and cross-functional teams to support external reporting, financial statement preparation, disclosure activities, and reporting process improvements within a dynamic corporate environment. The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and experienced within public accounting, SEC reporting, or external financial reporting environments.

Responsibilities as the Financial Reporting Associate (SEC):

  • SEC Reporting Support: Assist with preparation and review of SEC filings, external financial statements, and related footnote disclosures in accordance with U.S. GAAP and SEC requirements.
  • Disclosure Management: Research, draft, and maintain quarterly and annual disclosures while monitoring evolving reporting requirements and disclosure trends.
  • Financial Reporting Analysis: Support reporting analyses, benchmarking activities, and external disclosure review processes.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with finance, accounting, operations, and external stakeholders on reporting and disclosure activities.
  • Compliance & Controls: Support reporting controls, disclosure processes, and external reporting compliance initiatives.
  • Close & Reporting Support: Assist with quarter-end and year-end close activities, financial analyses, and reporting deliverables as needed.

Qualifications for the Financial Reporting Associate (SEC):

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
  • Certifications: CPA designation is required.
  • Experience: 4+ years of public accounting, SEC reporting, external reporting, or related accounting experience is required.
  • Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP, SEC reporting requirements, and financial statement disclosure requirements is required.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite is required, while Workiva experience is preferred.
  • Skills & Attributes: Strong analytical skills, research abilities, communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities within a deadline-driven environment are required.
