Job Overview – Financial Reporting Analyst (Real Estate):
Compensation: $100,000 – $110,000/year + bonus

Schedule: Monday to Friday (In-Office)

Atlantic Group is hiring a Financial Reporting Analyst (Real Estate) in Manchester, NH for our client, supporting GAAP reporting for REIT-structured real estate funds. This in-office role oversees quarterly and annual financial statements, SEC filings (10-Q, 10-K, 8-K), and SOX compliance in partnership with finance teams and external auditors. You will leverage Yardi and advanced Excel to deliver accurate, timely financial reporting.

Responsibilities as the Financial Reporting Analyst:

  • Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare and review quarterly and annual financial statements for real estate funds in accordance with U.S. GAAP and REIT requirements.
  • SEC & Regulatory Reporting: Support SEC filings, including Forms 10-Q, 10-K, and 8-K, ensuring timely and accurate disclosures.
  • SOX & Audit Support: Assist with SOX 404 compliance and coordinate with internal and external auditors throughout reporting cycles.
  • Systems & Data Analysis: Utilize Yardi and Excel to analyze accounting data and produce financial statement reporting.
  • Collaboration: Partner with finance, accounting, and operations teams to ensure accurate data flow and reporting alignment.

Qualifications for the Financial Reporting Analyst:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
  • Experience: 2+ years of financial services or public accounting experience with real estate exposure and hands-on involvement in SEC reporting (Forms 10-Q, 10-K, and 8-K).
  • Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of real estate accounting, REIT reporting, and U.S. GAAP financial reporting standards.
  • Technical Skills: Advanced Excel skills required, with experience using Yardi preferred and working knowledge of Word, PowerPoint, and collaboration tools.
  • Reporting Expertise: Demonstrated ability to translate accounting data into clear, accurate financial statements and disclosures.
  • Skills & Attributes: Detail-oriented, deadline-driven professional with strong communication skills, an operations-focused mindset, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced reporting environment.
