Job Overview – Financial Planning Analyst:
Compensation: $65,000/year

Schedule: Monday to Friday (Hybrid)
Atlantic Group is hiring a Financial Planning Analyst in Philadelphia, PA for our client. This hybrid role supports portfolio analysis, client reporting, investment research, and tax planning within a collaborative wealth management team. You will prepare reports, monitor asset allocations, and assist partners with account administration and financial projections. This position is ideal for early-career professionals passionate about investment advisory and client service.
Responsibilities as the Financial Planning Analyst:
- Portfolio Analysis: Compile monthly and quarterly reports to track portfolio performance and asset allocations.
- Investment Research: Conduct due diligence on mutual funds, ETFs, separate accounts, and hedge funds to support informed investment decisions.
- Client Support: Prepare meeting materials, coordinate portfolio updates, and assist in developing personalized financial plans.
- Tax Planning: Compile quarterly tax projections and support the preparation and review of client income tax returns (Forms 1040, etc.).
- Operational Management: Handle account openings, money movements, and data accuracy across CRM and portfolio management systems.
Qualifications for the Financial Planning Analyst:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Financial Planning, Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related business field required.
- Certification: CFP, CFA, or similar professional designation preferred
- Experience: 1-2 years of experience in a registered investment advisory (RIA) environment supporting financial advisors and clients.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, with preferred experience in Tamarac, eMoney, Zephyr, or Portfolio Center.
- Industry Knowledge: Understanding of portfolio management, investment products, and personal tax considerations in financial planning.
- Skills & Attributes: Detail-oriented, client-focused professional with strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills, excelling in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments.
