Role Overview:
Join a small-business direct lender as a Financial Analyst supporting the CFO with monthly reporting, data analysis, and financial modeling. This role offers exposure to executive leadership across the parent and subsidiary organizations.
Compensation: $100,000.00 – $110,000.00 + bonus
Location: Fairfield County, Connecticut – hybrid (3 days in office, 2 remote)
Responsibilities for the Financial Analyst include:
• Preparing monthly financial reports for stakeholders
• Collaborating with accounting on liquidity forecasts
• Analyzing origination, portfolio performance, and financial metrics
• Building financial models for budgeting, forecasting, and strategic opportunities
• Managing ad hoc projects and analyses to support CFO
• Driving process improvements and efficiency initiatives
Qualifications of the Financial Analyst include:
• Bachelor's degree; STEM disciplines are highly valued (physics, engineering, math, etc.)
• 2-3 years of analytical experience; investment banking background a plus
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint proficiency
• Strong financial and accounting acumen
• Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
• Effective communicator and collaborator
• Able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
