Job Overview – Director of Performance and FP&A:
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Director of Performance and FP&A to join our innovative team in New York City. The Director of Performance will be responsible for driving financial planning, monitoring, evaluation, and reporting for our diverse and growing portfolio. 

Location: New York, NY
Compensation: $165,000-$200,000 + bonus
Schedule: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday (Hybrid)

Responsibilities as the Director of Performance and FP&A:

  • Deliver accurate monthly and quarterly investment performance reports.
  • Develop and maintain rolling forecasts and detailed cash flow analyses.
  • Align assumptions for forecasting and analysis across the organization.
  • Collaborate with the Investment Team on performance benchmarks.
  • Prepare Investment Committee materials and ad hoc reports.
  • Develop dashboards and financial models to support reporting and budgeting.
  • Implement and maintain financial planning systems.
  • Develop the annual operating budget and analyze G&A expense trends.
  • Maintain the company’s long-range plan and performance model.
  • Participate in cross-functional projects to enhance financial analytics.

Qualifications for the Director of Performance and FP&A:

  • 7-12 years of relevant experience, including 3+ years in financial planning and analysis at a family office or investment management firm.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance and/or Accounting.
  • Strong understanding of investment concepts, financial markets, and performance metrics.
  • Solid analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and tight deadlines.
  • Proficient in financial software systems and MS Excel; experience with  data visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau is a plus.
  • Detail-oriented, responsive, and team-oriented with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Dependable with high integrity and the ability to handle confidential information.
