Job Overview – Director of Credit Reporting (Hybrid):
Join our client as a Director of Credit Reporting in New York, NY (Hybrid), overseeing performance reporting, investor relations, and fund analytics for credit funds. This role is ideal for a finance professional with expertise in credit investments, fund performance metrics, and SEC compliance. You will drive strategic insights by managing investor reporting, portfolio analytics, and regulatory disclosures, while leveraging technology to optimize reporting processes and enhance fund performance analysis.

Compensation: $175,000 – $200,000/year + bonus
Location: New York, NY
Schedule: Monday to Friday (Hybrid)

Responsibilities as the Director of Credit Reporting:

  • Performance Reporting: Oversee recurring and ad hoc credit fund reports, ensuring accuracy in analytics and investor deliverables.
  • Investor Relations: Prepare fundraising materials, quarterly reports, SOI reports, and investor presentations.
  • Portfolio & Fund Analytics: Collaborate with investment, valuation, and accounting teams to assess fund strategy and performance.
  • Process Optimization: Streamline reporting processes with Power BI and automation tools to enhance efficiency.
  • Market & Benchmark Analysis: Conduct peer benchmarking, market comparisons, and performance assessments to support senior stakeholders.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to SEC marketing rules and regulatory reporting requirements.

Qualifications for the Director of Credit Reporting:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field required (CFA or MBA preferred).
  • Experience: 8-12+ years in performance reporting, fund analytics, or investor relations within credit funds or alternative investments.
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of credit investments, financial modeling, and fund performance metrics (IRRs, MOICs, TVPIs, DPIs), with proficiency in Excel, Power BI, and portfolio databases preferred.
  • Industry Knowledge: Expertise in credit investment strategies, private credit markets, fund performance impacts, and SEC reporting requirements.
  • Skills & Attributes: Strong analytical mindset, ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights, and excellent communication skills for stakeholder engagement.
