Compensation: $130,000 – $150,000/year + bonus

Schedule: Monday to Friday (Hybrid)

Atlantic Group is hiring a Data Operations Associate (Alternative Investments) to join our client’s hybrid team in New York, NY (Hybrid). This role supports data strategy, portfolio management, and reporting across private markets, with a focus on system integration, accuracy, and compliance. Ideal candidates have experience in asset management or fund administration and are proficient in Addepar, SQL, and Snowflake.

Responsibilities as the Data Operations Associate:

  • Data Strategy & Governance: Execute scalable data solutions and uphold data quality, reconciliation, and compliance standards.
  • Addepar Oversight: Maintain data integrity in Addepar, ensuring accurate valuations, capital calls, commitments, and distributions.
  • Fund Admin Coordination: Ensure accurate data flows by collaborating with administrators and third-party sources.
  • System Integration: Support API development and automation of data ingestion and transformation workflows.
  • Reporting & Analytics: Review performance metrics (IRR, TWR, NAV) for accuracy and consistency across platforms.
  • Cross-Functional Support: Partner with investment, finance, and client teams to meet real-time data and reporting needs.

Qualifications for the Data Operations Associate:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field is required.
  • Experience: 5+ years in data operations, middle office, or fund administration roles within asset management, alternative investments, or financial services consulting.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Addepar is required, with working knowledge of SQL and/or Snowflake preferred.
  • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with alternative asset capital activity, including capital calls, unfunded commitments, NAVs, IRR, and TWR calculations.
  • Skills & Attributes: Detail-oriented and analytical, with strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to cross-functional workflows.
