Job Overview – Customer Service Associate:
Our esteemed client is looking for a Customer Service Associate to join their Boston team. As the Customer Service Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to customers, handling inquiries, and managing complaints efficiently.

Location: Boston, MA
Compensation: $20/hour
Schedule: Flexible Shifts

Responsibilities as the Customer Service Associate:

  • Call Handling: Answer approximately 30-40 customer calls per day, varying based on train service, coverage, and special events.
  • Customer Logging: Log all customer contacts in the database, ensuring all relevant details about incidents are included.
  • Complaint Management: Share complaints with the appropriate departments for investigation and escalate safety-sensitive calls to the appropriate manager.
  • Customer Inquiries: Ability to answer customer inquiries and complaints via email is preferred.

Qualifications for the Customer Service Associate:

  • Communication Skills: Ability to answer customer calls in a friendly tone and provide helpful service.
  • System Knowledge: Existing knowledge or willingness to learn about the MBTA/Commuter Rail system.
  • Technical Skills: Basic understanding of Microsoft Office and ability to use a laptop.
