Atlantic Group is hiring a Credit Operations Manager in New York, NY for our client, supporting investment operations, liquidity management, trade settlement, portfolio monitoring, and fund operations within a private credit environment. This role will work closely with investment professionals while managing operational processes across credit investments, financing facilities, derivatives, counterparties, and portfolio reporting. The ideal candidate has buy-side middle office or investment operations experience with strong credit product knowledge and a technology-driven approach to process improvement.

Responsibilities as the Credit Operations Manager:

  • Investment Operations: Oversee daily investment operations, cash activity, liquidity requirements, and operational workflows across investment portfolios.
  • Trade Operations: Manage trade processing, allocations, settlements, corporate actions, and post-trade activities across credit and fixed income investments.
  • Counterparty Coordination: Support onboarding, documentation, and ongoing operational relationships with financial institutions and external counterparties.
  • Portfolio Operations: Monitor portfolio activity, position data, reconciliations, and investment information while identifying and resolving discrepancies.
  • Fund Operations: Support fund accounting, financial reporting, reconciliations, and coordination with administrators and other service providers.
  • Process Improvement: Develop and enhance operational workflows, reporting tools, automation, and controls to improve accuracy and efficiency.

Qualifications for the Credit Operations Manager:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field is required.
  • Experience: 5+ years of investment operations, middle office, trade operations, or related asset management experience is required.
  • Industry Knowledge: Strong knowledge of credit or fixed income investments, trade processing, settlements, reconciliations, and investment operations is required.
  • Technical Skills: Strong Microsoft Excel, investment management systems, data analysis, and reporting skills are required, with automation experience preferred.
  • Skills & Attributes: Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, organizational, and attention to detail skills with the ability to collaborate with investment professionals and external partners are required.
