Job Overview – Credit Operations Associate (Private Credit Fund)
Compensation: $120,000 – $150,000/year + bonus

Schedule: Monday to Friday (Hybrid)
Atlantic Group is hiring a Credit Operations Associate (Private Credit Fund) in New York, NY for our client, supporting transaction execution, portfolio operations, valuation coordination, and regulatory reporting across private credit and direct lending strategies. In this hybrid role, you will manage deal closings, coordinate across investment, finance, and compliance teams, support quarterly valuation workflows, and contribute to reporting and system enhancements while leveraging loan operations and portfolio management platforms to ensure accuracy and control.
Responsibilities as the Credit Operations Associate:
- Transaction Closing & Funding: Support end-to-end deal closings by coordinating documentation, funding mechanics, and settlement processes across private credit transactions.
- Cross-Functional Operations Management: Act as liaison between investment, finance, compliance, counterparties, and service providers to ensure accurate execution and data integrity.
- Valuation & Risk Reconciliations: Coordinate quarterly valuations, review pricing reports, and reconcile outputs to underlying loan documentation.
- Investor & Regulatory Reporting: Assist with management reporting and support regulatory filings including Form ADV, Form PF, Annex IV, and 10-Q/K documentation.
- Systems, Controls & Audit Support: Contribute to loan operations system enhancements, resolve data discrepancies, and support internal and external audits.
Qualifications for the Credit Operations Associate:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field required.
- Experience: 3-6 years of credit or loan operations experience within a private credit fund, direct lending platform, BDC, or alternative asset manager.
- Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of private credit structures, loan lifecycle management, valuation processes, and regulatory reporting within an alternative investment environment.
- Technical Skills: Advanced Excel proficiency required, with experience using loan operations systems, portfolio management platforms, or data reporting tools preferred.
- Skills & Attributes: Detail-oriented and analytical professional with strong problem-solving abilities, system fluency, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced credit investment environment.
