Job Overview – Cost Accountant (Hybrid):
Take on the hybrid role of Cost Accountant with our client in Montgomery County, PA. As the Cost Accountant, you’ll oversee cost accounting for manufactured products, manage accounting for manufacturing operations, and ensure accurate financial reporting and reconciliations.
Compensation: $80,000 – $100,000/year + bonus
Location: Montgomery County, PA
Schedule: Monday to Friday (Hybrid)
Responsibilities as the Cost Accountant:
- Cost Records: Maintain cost accounting records for manufactured products.
- Accounting: Oversee the accounting process for manufacturing operations and bill of materials.
- Receivables: Oversee invoice generation and cash collection.
- Tax Compliance: Complete and file sales tax returns.
- Reconciliation: Perform monthly bank reconciliation and review outstanding items.
- Reporting: Prepare financial reports and analyses as needed.
Qualifications for the Cost Accountant:
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field preferred.
- Experience: 5-7 years of Manufacturing Accounting experience required (Pharmaceutical industry preferred).
- Technical Skills: Strong MS Office skills, particularly Excel; experience with accounting systems (Great Plains or SAP a plus).
- Skills: Detail-oriented, strong analytical and organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple projects.
- Knowledge: Familiarity with Sunshine Act/transparency reporting is a plus.
