Job Overview – CLO Operations Analyst (Structured Credit):
Compensation: $110,000 – $130,000/year + bonus
Location: New York, NY
Schedule: Monday to Friday (Hybrid)
Atlantic Group is hiring a CLO Operations Analyst (Structured Credit) in New York, NY for our client. This hybrid role supports daily CLO operations across structured credit portfolios, including reconciliations, cash management, corporate actions, and coordination with trustees, administrators, and investment teams. You will partner with trading, research, fund accounting, audit, and tax teams while supporting new issues, warehouses, resets, and refinancing’s using platforms such as Virtus, Nexus, and Wall Street Office.
Responsibilities as the CLO Operations Analyst:
- Portfolio Reconciliation & Oversight: Perform daily portfolio reviews and reconciliations with trustees and administrators to ensure accurate positions and balances.
- CLO Reporting & Distributions: Reconcile monthly CLO reports and support quarterly payment and distribution processes.
- Cash & Warehouse Management: Monitor deal and warehouse cash balances, calculate funding needs, and prepare drawdown requests.
- Corporate Actions & Loan Events: Track corporate actions, agent notices, and loan activity, ensuring timely updates with service providers.
- New Issue & Transaction Support: Support CLO warehouses, new issues, resets, refinancing’s, and lifecycle processes in coordination with internal teams.
Qualifications for the CLO Operations Analyst:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field required.
- Experience: 3-5 years of experience supporting CLOs or structured credit in a buy-side, sell-side, or fund administration environment.
- Technical Skills: Strong Excel proficiency with experience analyzing large datasets, and familiarity with CLO platforms such as Virtus, Nexus, or Wall Street Office preferred.
- Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of CLO structures, credit agreements, and loan documentation, including cash, interest, and position reconciliations.
- Skills & Attributes: Detail-oriented, analytical professional with strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
