Job Overview – Client Service Associate (Wealth Management)
Compensation: $80,000 – $95,000/year + bonus
Location: Bergen County, NJ
Schedule: Monday to Friday (Hybrid)
Atlantic Group is hiring a Client Service Associate (Wealth Management) in Bergen County, NJ for our client. This hybrid role supports client relationship management, account administration, money movement, reporting, and investment operations while partnering closely with financial advisors. The ideal candidate has experience within a registered investment advisor or wealth management firm and excels in a collaborative, client-focused environment.
Responsibilities as the Client Service Associate (Wealth Management):
- Client Relationship Management: Serve as a primary point of contact for client inquiries while delivering responsive, high-quality service and coordinating requests with internal teams.
- Account Administration: Support new account openings, account maintenance, client documentation, and custodial paperwork while ensuring accuracy and timely processing.
- Investment Operations: Process money movement requests, account transfers, required distributions, and other client service transactions in accordance with established procedures.
- CRM Management: Maintain accurate client records, document client interactions, generate reports, and support workflow management within the firm’s CRM platform.
- Meeting & Reporting Support: Prepare presentation materials, coordinate client meetings, assist with reporting, and provide ongoing administrative support to advisory teams.
Qualifications for the Client Service Associate (Wealth Management):
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience: 3+ years of client service or client operations experience within a registered investment advisor (RIA), wealth management firm, or financial advisory environment is required.
- Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of wealth management operations, investment account administration, custodial processes, and client service best practices is required.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems is required. Experience with Charles Schwab custodial platforms and Microsoft Dynamics or similar CRM systems is preferred.
- Skills & Attributes: Strong communication, organizational, customer service, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, maintain attention to detail, and build lasting client relationships are required.
