Job Overview – Chief Financial Officer (CFO):
Join our client in Santa Monica, CA, as Chief Financial Officer (CFO), reporting to the CEO. In this hybrid role, you'll lead finance, FP&A, and accounting functions, ensuring financial alignment with business goals. Collaborate with executive leadership to provide insights, develop financial processes, and guide resource allocation.
Compensation: $250,000 – $350,000/year + bonus
Location: Santa Monica, CA (Hybrid)
Schedule: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday
Responsibilities as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO):
- Financial Goal Setting: Lead financial goal setting, performance tracking, and controls.
- Payroll and Audits: Oversee payroll, cash reporting, audits, and general ledger management.
- FP&A: Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis with department heads.
- Reporting: Prepare financial statements and reports for leadership and the board.
- Collaboration: Work with teams to guide resource allocation and investment decisions.
- Budget Management: Establish and lead formal budgeting processes.
- Project Management: Lead projects, providing analysis and insights for decision-making.
Qualifications for the Chief Financial Officer (CFO):
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting required (CPA preferred, MBA a plus).
- Experience: 10+ years of Corporate Finance experience, preferably within Consumer Brands.
- Leadership: Proven success in building and leading finance teams.
- Industry Knowledge: Expertise in ecommerce, retail, and wholesale required.
- ERP Experience: Familiarity with ERP systems (Netsuite or similar).
- Skills: Strong communication, analytical, and decision-making skills.
