Job Overview – Cash Management Associate (Asset Management):
Compensation: $100,000 – $110,000/year + bonus
Location: Boston, MA
Schedule: Monday to Friday (Hybrid)

Take ownership of treasury and cash operations as a Cash Management Associate with our client in Boston, MA (Hybrid). This role centers on liquidity oversight, collateral tracking, and high-priority wire processing across multi-currency fund structures. You’ll work closely with internal teams, custodians, and prime brokers to strengthen treasury forecasting, reporting, and system enhancements. Strong Excel proficiency and experience in asset or fund management operations are strongly preferred.

Responsibilities as the Cash Management Associate:

  • Cash & Liquidity Oversight: Monitor daily cash positions, forecast liquidity needs, and manage collateral across currencies and entities.
  • Banking & Coordination: Liaise with custodians, trustees, and prime brokers to support settlements and maintain accounts.
  • Wire Processing: Execute and track high-priority wire activity across multiple business units with precision and timeliness.
  • Reporting & Forecasting: Prepare cash and collateral reports for leadership and contribute to daily projections.
  • System & Process Improvement: Manage GTreasury data and collaborate with tech teams to enhance treasury systems and workflows.

Qualifications for the Cash Management Associate:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is required (MBA preferred).
  • Certification: CFA designation preferred.
  • Experience: 3-5 years of experience in treasury, cash operations, or fund administration within asset management or financial services, with a focus on liquidity and cash oversight.
  • Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel required, with experience in treasury management systems (GTreasury) strongly preferred.
  • Skills & Attributes: Detail-oriented, analytical, and proactive with strong interpersonal communication skills and the ability to manage competing deadlines.
  • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with fund structures, legal agreements, collateral flows, and international currency operations is strongly preferred.
