Job Overview – Business Development Manager (Sales):
Take on a leadership role with our manufacturing client as a Business Development Manager (Sales) in Wayne, NJ. This in-office position is responsible for driving revenue growth, managing customer relationships, and leading business development initiatives. You will develop and execute strategic sales plans, oversee customer service operations, and collaborate with internal teams to enhance market presence and client satisfaction.

Compensation: $130,000 – $150,000/year + bonus
Location: Wayne, NJ
Schedule: Monday to Friday (In-Office)

Responsibilities as the Business Development Manager:

  • Customer Relations: Manage client communications, quoting, and order confirmations to ensure a seamless experience.
  • Sales Strategy: Develop and execute strategies to expand market presence and drive revenue growth.
  • Market Analysis: Gather industry data to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive positioning.
  • Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and mentor sales team members to enhance performance and collaboration.
  • Partnerships & Networking: Build relationships with key customers and industry stakeholders to align business goals.
  • Marketing & Brand Growth: Support targeted campaigns to promote products and strengthen brand visibility.

Qualifications for the Business Development Manager:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or a related field required (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of sales and marketing management experience required, with experience in a manufacturing business.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to leverage technology to optimize business processes.
  • Leadership & Strategy: Proven ability to develop strategic sales plans, manage teams, and drive business growth through data-driven decision-making.
  • Skills: Strong communication, stakeholder engagement, and problem-solving abilities to develop and execute strategies independently.
  • Travel Requirements: Willingness to travel domestically and internationally to attend trade shows, customer meetings, and industry events.
