Job Overview – Associate, Compliance and Regulatory Technology:
Join our client as a Compliance and Regulatory Technology Associate in New York, NY. In this hybrid role, you’ll develop advanced compliance infrastructures, leverage GRC platforms for operational excellence, and ensure alignment with global regulatory standards, reporting to the Director of Compliance and CIO.
Compensation: $120,000 – $150,000/year + bonus
Location: New York, NY
Schedule: Monday to Friday (Hybrid)
Responsibilities as the Associate, Compliance and Regulatory Technology:
- Compliance Expertise: Develop a deep understanding of compliance workflows across global investment teams, identifying opportunities for optimization and seamless integration of technology solutions.
- Technology Implementation: Evaluate, recommend, and implement regulatory technology platforms (e.g., GRC systems) to streamline and automate compliance tasks.
- Process Optimization: Conduct process mapping, identify areas for improvement, and lead the strategic selection of effective technology platforms.
- Training & Adoption: Design and deliver compliance training for teams and ensure smooth adoption of new technology workflows.
- Cybersecurity & Data Governance: Support the implementation of cybersecurity frameworks (e.g., NIST, GDPR) and collaborate on incident response, business continuity, and disaster recovery planning.
- Risk Management: Coordinate risk assessments, readiness reviews, and provide actionable recommendations for aligning with industry standards.
Qualifications for the Associate, Compliance and Regulatory Technology:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology, or Compliance is required (advanced compliance or technology certifications preferred).
- Experience: 2-5 years of Generalist Compliance, with a strong foundation in operations and a passion for technology integration.
- Skills: Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills with adaptability, innovation, and a focus on technology-driven compliance solutions.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in compliance frameworks (e.g., NIST, GDPR), risk management, process mapping, workflow optimization, and managing GRC systems.
