Job Overview – Accounts Payable Supervisor (Hybrid):
Compensation: $80,000 – $85,000/year

Schedule: Monday to Friday (Hybrid)
Take on a key position with our distribution client in Fort Lee, NJ (Hybrid) as an Accounts Payable Supervisor. This role is ideal for finance professionals with proven experience in AP operations, invoicing, and vendor management. You’ll oversee daily accounts payable processes, ensure timely and accurate payment execution, resolve vendor inquiries, and contribute to system enhancements and workflow improvements.
Responsibilities as the Accounts Payable Supervisor:
- Invoice Processing & Review: Oversee the accurate and timely entry, coding, and payment of invoices.
- Vendor Relations: Serve as the main point of contact for vendor inquiries, ensuring prompt resolution and strong relationship management.
- Team Oversight: Supervise AP staff, delegate tasks, and support daily operations and performance improvement.
- Reconciliation & Reporting: Reconcile accounts payable transactions and assist with monthly closings and financial reporting.
- System Optimization: Support AP system enhancements and contribute to automation and process efficiency.
Qualifications for the Accounts Payable Supervisor:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of accounts payable experience, including at least 1 year in a supervisory or lead capacity managing AP functions and workflows.
- Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in Excel and ERP/AP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, or Oracle).
- Skills & Attributes: Demonstrates excellent communication and organizational skills, with a proven ability to handle vendor inquiries professionally and maintain strong vendor relationships.
