Atlantic Group is hiring an Accounting Manager (Financial Reporting) in Delaware County, PA for our client. This hybrid role leads month-end close, technical accounting, and global financial reporting within a complex, multinational environment. You will oversee IFRS-based reporting, review complex accounting areas, manage shared services collaboration, and mentor accounting staff while ensuring strong controls, accurate reporting, and continuous process improvement.

Responsibilities as the Accounting Manager (Financial Reporting):

  • Month-End Close & Technical Accounting: Oversee the full month-end close process, including review and approval of complex journal entries, accruals, and IFRS-related accounting areas.
  • Financial Close & Reconciliations: Direct timely and accurate close processes in partnership with shared services, ensuring complete general ledger reconciliations and supporting analyses.
  • Financial Reporting & Consolidation: Coordinate monthly and quarterly financial reporting packages for global stakeholders, including balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow reporting.
  • Team Leadership & Development: Lead, train, and mentor accounting staff to ensure technical accuracy, accountability, and professional growth.
  • Controls & Process Improvement: Strengthen internal controls and drive process and reporting improvements in collaboration with management and cross-functional teams.

Qualifications for the Accounting Manager (Financial Reporting):

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business required (MBA preferred).
  • Certification: Active CPA required.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of public accounting experience or a combination of public accounting and corporate financial reporting or financial accounting experience.
  • Industry Knowledge: Strong IFRS knowledge with the ability to perform technical accounting research, apply standards to business scenarios, and lead and mentor accounting professionals.
  • Technical Skills: Advanced Microsoft Office proficiency with strong analytical capabilities and ERP system experience such as SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite, with SAP and BPC preferred.
  • Skills & Attributes: Strong communicator with a client-service mindset, the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, matrixed environment, and a proactive, solutions-oriented leadership style.
