Job Overview – Accounting Analyst:
We are looking to add a detail-oriented and proactive Accounting Analyst to our team. This role involves managing accounting, administration, and reporting for various management company entities.
Location: New York, NY
Compensation: $100,000-$120,000/year + bonus + carried interest
Schedule: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday
Responsibilities as the Accounting Analyst:
- Review transactions, general ledger reporting, and accounting statements.
- Manage regulatory filings, annual audits, and compliance with policies.
- Oversee investment-related and fund-related expenses.
- Develop and maintain process control narratives and assist with treasury functions.
- Prepare monthly and quarterly reporting packages and support special projects.
- Streamline processes for efficient operation of the accounting team.
Qualifications for the Accounting Analyst:
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in public accounting with PE clients.
- CPA preferred.
- GPA of 3.5+ and strong Excel skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
