Vice President, Investor Relations

The Vice President of Investor Relations is responsible for creation and execution of the firm’s ongoing relationship development and client service strategy. The Vice President will be accountable for initiating and executing a strategic investor relations program for existing and new private fund investors. This will include collaborating across investment segments to ensure a unified approach to relationship management and investor service. As a senior member of the team, this individual will play a significant role in strategizing and defining the function of the Investor Relations team as it continues to develop and evolve. Acting on behalf of the firm, the Vice President will become a product specialist in both the firm’s organizational structure and its sectors and strategies. The Vice President will be responsible for coordinating and collaborating with multiple teams and departments, interacting with all levels of the organization, to complete investor requests and to execute on various large initiatives in an organized, concise fashion.

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Contribute to the production of effective investor communications (routine and ad hoc), periodic updates, and compelling investor presentations
  • Support founding partners in their fundraising efforts, with a strong dedication to successful investor outcomes
  • Stay current on all company business activities and maintain strong sector expertise, including both financial and non-financial matters, in order to be responsive to investors and media, as well as to be able to communicate effectively with management
  • Assist with presentations for investor/corporate communications/marketing initiatives, investor conferences, road shows, and other activities
  • Maintain current investor presentations to ensure they are informative and accurate and relevant to the current environment
  • Responsible for the onboarding process of new investors, including submission of investor subscription and AML documents
  • Coordinate with third-party administrators to process subscriptions, capital calls, distributions, redemptions and transfers, and maintain accurate investor database
