Compensation: $100,000.00 – $120,000.00 + bonusĀ 
Location: New Castle County, DE – Hybrid

Responsibilities of the Senior Tax Analyst Include:

  • Prepare and review federal, state, and local tax returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations.
  • Assist in tax planning initiatives to optimize the company's tax position, including researching tax laws and regulations to identify potential tax-saving opportunities.
  • Manage the preparation and documentation of the ASC 740 tax provision, including deferred tax assets/liabilities and effective tax rate analysis.
  • Provide tax support for mergers, acquisitions, and other corporate transactions, including due diligence, tax structuring, and integration activities.
  • Utilize tax software systems effectively, including SAP, BPC, and OneSource Income Tax, to streamline tax processes and enhance efficiency.
  • Leverage technology tools such as Alteryx, Excel PowerBI, etc., to automate and enhance tax workflows, driving process improvements and efficiencies.
  • Stay updated on changes in tax laws, regulations, and rulings, and assess their impact on the company's tax liabilities and financial statements.
  • Work collaboratively with other departments such as Finance, Legal, and Operations to gather relevant tax-related information and ensure alignment with overall business objectives.

Qualifications of the Senior Tax Analyst Include:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field required.
  • CPA preferred; Master's in Taxation a plus.
  • 4+ years of experience in Big Four, combination, or corporate tax roles.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience with ASC 740 tax provision; ideally 2 years.
  • Proficiency in tax software applications such as SAP, BPC, and OneSource Income Tax.
  • Experience leveraging technology tools (Alteryx, Excel PowerBI, etc.) to automate and enhance tax workflow preferred.
