Senior Tax Accountant

  • Review of Funds’ federal and multi-state partnership and corporate tax returns prepared by 3rd party tax advisors (Deloitte & EY)
  • Review of tax allocations and Schedule K-1s
  • Review of International tax reporting forms (5471s, 8865s, 926s etc)
  • Prepare tax withholding and other informational forms (1099s, 1042s, 8804s, FBAR)
  • Assist in gathering financial information from portfolio companies to analyze tax treatment of transactions
  • Prepare quarterly tax estimates and payments
  • Prepare/review state tax withholdings relating to state income allocations for nonresident investors
  • Prepare/review US tax withholdings relating to FDAP/ECI allocations to non-US investors
  • Prepare/review the federal and state tax returns/K-1s for the Management Company
  • Work with internal accounting group to gather and analyze financial statements and to assist with tax provisions for corporate blocker entities
  • Respond to IRS/state tax notices
  • Respond to investors’ requests for supplementary tax information, due diligence questions and other ad-hoc requests
  • Assist in FATCA and CRS reporting for the Funds’ offshore entities
  • Assist in KYC analysis related to new investments/entities
  • Work with non-US teams and advisors for tax and financial reporting for foreign entities
  • Communicate with 3rd party tax advisors to manage workflow and to ensure deadlines are met
  • Research tax issues as needed




  • 2 to 3yrs experience
  • Public Accounting Tax experience (Big 4 preferred) with private equity Partnership tax experience
  • CPA preferred
  • Masters in Tax preferred
