Compensation: $180,000 – $220,000/year + bonus
Location: Boston, MA
Schedule: Monday to Friday (Hybrid)

Atlantic Group is hiring a Principal, Treasury Operations in Boston, MA for our client, leading treasury operations, transaction funding, liquidity management, and payment execution within a global financial services environment. This role will oversee a treasury operations team, manage complex funding activity across multiple entities, strengthen controls, and partner with senior stakeholders on treasury strategy and execution.

Responsibilities as the Principal, Treasury Operations:

  • Treasury Operations: Lead daily treasury activities, including cash management, funding, payments, and transaction execution.
  • Liquidity Management: Oversee cash positioning, liquidity requirements, and funding needs while addressing operational issues.
  • Banking Operations: Manage banking activities and relationships with external financial partners.
  • Risk & Controls: Maintain strong treasury controls, operational procedures, and risk management practices.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and develop treasury professionals while promoting accountability and operational excellence.
  • Process Improvement: Drive improvements across treasury systems, automation, controls, and operational processes.

Qualifications for the Principal, Treasury Operations:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field is required.
  • Certification: Certified Treasury Professional (CTP), CFA, CPA, or related professional certification is required.
  • Experience: 12+ years of progressive treasury experience, including treasury operations and leadership responsibility, is required.
  • Industry Knowledge: Strong knowledge of treasury operations, cash and liquidity management, payment operations, banking, and financial controls is required.
  • Technical Skills: Experience with treasury management systems, cash management platforms, payment technology, or treasury automation is required.
  • Skills & Attributes: Strong leadership, decision-making, risk management, communication, and ability to manage complex, time-sensitive treasury activities are required.
