Job Overview – Senior Operations Analyst
Compensation: $120,000 – $160,000/year + bonus
Location: Greenwich, CT
Schedule: Monday to Friday (In-Office)
Atlantic Group is hiring a Senior Operations Analyst in Greenwich, CT for our client, supporting investment operations, trade processing, reconciliations, and corporate actions for an alternative asset manager. This role will manage daily operational workflows across investment portfolios, resolve position and cash discrepancies, coordinate with external service providers, and identify opportunities to improve operational processes.
Responsibilities as the Senior Operations Analyst:
- Reconciliations: Perform position and cash reconciliations while researching and resolving discrepancies across investment portfolios.
- Trade Operations: Support trade processing, booking, settlements, and other investment operations activities.
- Corporate Actions: Process and monitor corporate actions and related investment activity.
- Investment Operations: Support day-to-day operational processes across investment portfolios and accounts.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve operational processes, controls, and workflow efficiency.
Qualifications for the Senior Operations Analyst:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field is required.
- Experience: 4+ years of investment operations, middle office, hedge fund operations, or related experience is required.
- Industry Knowledge: Experience with reconciliations, trade operations, settlements, and corporate actions is required.
- Technical Skills: Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency is required, with experience using financial systems or data analysis tools preferred.
- Skills & Attributes: Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, organization, initiative, and ability to manage time-sensitive operational responsibilities are required.
