Job Overview – Tax Manager (Corporate Tax)
Compensation: $140,000 – $165,000/year + bonus
Location: New Castle County, DE
Schedule: Monday to Friday (Hybrid)
Atlantic Group is hiring a Tax Manager (Corporate Tax) in New Castle County, DE for our client, supporting income tax accounting, compliance, and tax planning within a large multinational environment. This role focuses on either U.S. income tax compliance or global income tax accounting, depending on experience, while partnering closely with finance, legal, and treasury teams. Responsibilities as the Tax Manager (Corporate Tax):
- Tax Compliance: Prepare and review U.S. federal and international tax filings including corporate returns and related schedules.
- Tax Accounting: Support quarterly and annual income tax provision processes including deferred taxes and effective tax rate analysis.
- Financial Reporting: Assist with tax disclosures and reporting requirements in accordance with regulatory standards.
- Tax Planning: Support strategic tax planning initiatives and provide guidance on business transactions.
- Technical Analysis: Conduct tax research and interpret regulations to ensure compliance and identify opportunities.
- Audit Support: Assist with internal and external audits and respond to tax authority inquiries as needed.
Qualifications for the Tax Manager (Corporate Tax):
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field is required, CPA and advanced tax degree are preferred.
- Experience: 6+ years of tax experience within public accounting and or a corporate environment is required.
- Industry Knowledge: Strong background in U.S. tax compliance, international tax, or income tax accounting is required.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with tax software and financial reporting tools is required.
- Skills & Attributes: Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities are required.
