Atlantic Group is hiring a Compensation Manager in Boston, MA for our client, supporting compensation strategy, analysis, and program execution across multiple business units within a financial services environment. In this role, you will lead compensation planning, conduct benchmarking analysis, and partner with HR and senior leadership to support competitive pay programs. You will utilize advanced Excel and reporting tools to analyze data, deliver insights, and support compensation decisions.

Responsibilities as the Compensation Manager (Financial Services):

  • Compensation Planning: Lead the annual compensation cycle including data management, analysis, and execution across business units.
  • Benchmarking & Analysis: Conduct market analysis to ensure competitive and aligned compensation structures.
  • Business Advisory: Partner with HR and senior leaders to provide compensation guidance and support decision-making.
  • Offer Structuring: Collaborate with recruiting teams to develop competitive compensation packages.
  • Data & Reporting: Analyze compensation data and prepare reports to support ongoing initiatives.

Qualifications for the Compensation Manager (Financial Services):

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance, or a related field is required.
  • Experience: 6–10 years of compensation experience within financial services or a complex corporate environment is required.
  • Industry Knowledge: Understanding of compensation structures, benchmarking practices, and financial services environments is required, with insurance exposure strongly preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and data analysis tools is required.
  • Skills & Attributes: Demonstrates strong analytical thinking, communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to influence stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
