Job Overview – Private Credit Operations Associate
Compensation: $85,000 – $130,000/year + bonus
Location: Boston, MA
Schedule: Monday to Friday (Hybrid)
Atlantic Group is hiring a Private Credit Operations Associate in Boston, MA for our client, supporting trade settlements, fund operations, and treasury activity within an alternative investment environment. In this role, you will handle post-trade execution, cash movement, and portfolio support while partnering with investment, finance, and operations teams to ensure accuracy and efficiency. The ideal candidate has private debt operations experience, strong Excel skills, and exposure to systems such as WSO, ClearPar, or similar platforms.
Responsibilities as the Private Credit Operations Associate:
- Trade Settlements: Manage primary and secondary trade settlements for private debt transactions and ensure timely execution.
- Allocations & Coordination: Partner with internal teams to confirm trade allocations and support deal closing requirements.
- Bank & Counterparty Management: Coordinate with agent banks and external parties to resolve settlement issues and support funding timelines.
- Cash & Treasury Operations: Support cash movement, wire activity, and funding processes in coordination with finance and treasury teams.
- Portfolio & Systems Management: Maintain accurate portfolio data and record transaction activity across internal systems.
Qualifications for the Private Credit Operations Associate:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field is required.
- Experience: 4-8 years of operations experience within private debt, bank loan operations, fund operations, or trade settlements.
- Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with private credit products, CLOs, treasury workflows, and fund operations processes is strongly preferred.
- Technical Skills: Advanced Excel skills are required and experience with WSO, ClearPar, Black Mountain, or similar investment operations systems is highly valued.
- Skills & Attributes: Strong attention to detail, sound organizational skills, and the ability to manage time-sensitive workflows in a collaborative environment are essential.
