Atlantic Group is hiring a Senior Associate (Fund Operations) in Boston, MA for our client, supporting investment operations, portfolio lifecycle activities, and operational oversight across complex fund structures. This role partners closely with portfolio management, structuring, and technology teams to enhance controls, process efficiency, and risk reporting and is ideal for professionals with 4+ years of fund or portfolio operations experience within asset management or fund administration, including exposure to registered products.

Responsibilities as the Senior Associate (Fund Operations):

  • Investment Operations Oversight: Oversee day-to-day operations across multiple fund structures, ensuring accurate execution, documentation, and efficiency.
  • Compliance & Risk Monitoring: Support investment compliance, guideline monitoring, fair valuation, and operational risk reporting.
  • Fund Launch Support: Lead operational readiness for new portfolio launches, coordinating internal teams and external providers.
  • Process Improvement & Controls: Partner with technology teams to enhance workflows, controls, and data integrity.
  • Regulatory & Data Governance: Ensure adherence to security, data protection, and privacy requirements while escalating risks as needed.

Qualifications for the Senior Associate (Fund Operations):

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field required (MBA preferred).
  • Certifications: CPA, CFA, or CAIA preferred.
  • Experience: 4+ years of fund or portfolio operations experience within asset management or fund administration, with exposure to registered products and complex fund structures.
  • Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of investment operations, allocation processes, fund structures, regulatory requirements, and valuation oversight.
  • Technical Skills: Advanced Excel proficiency required, with experience in data analysis and reporting tools such as Power BI or similar visualization platforms preferred.
  • Skills & Attributes: Highly organized and proactive professional with strong communication, problem-solving, and project management skills, capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced investment environment.
