Job Overview – Investment Operations Associate (Hedge Fund)
Compensation: $100,000 – $110,000/year + bonus

Schedule: Monday to Friday (Hybrid)
Atlantic Group is hiring an Investment Operations Associate (Hedge Fund) in New York, NY for our client. In this hybrid role, you will support daily hedge fund operations by managing reconciliations, trade processing, cash movements, and broker interactions across a multi-prime environment. You will work closely with Prime Brokers, fund administrators, and internal investment teams to resolve breaks, support settlements, and maintain accurate position and cash reporting. This role is ideal for an early-career investment operations professional seeking hands-on exposure within a fast-paced hedge fund platform.
Responsibilities as the Investment Operations Associate (Hedge Fund):
- Cash & Position Reconciliations: Perform daily reconciliations with Prime Brokers and administrators, investigating and resolving breaks.
- Trade Affirmation & Settlements: Affirm equity and FX trades, resolve trade and cash breaks, and manage settlement activity.
- Trade Processing & Allocations: Facilitate end-of-day trade processing, allocations, and confirmation archiving across internal systems.
- Margin, Collateral & Portfolio Support: Assist with rebalances, margin calls, collateral movements, and non-trading cash activity including corporate actions and swap resets.
- Reporting & Position Tracking: Maintain internal position databases and provide cash and portfolio reporting to investment and operations teams.
Qualifications for the Investment Operations Associate (Hedge Fund):
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field required.
- Experience: 1-3 years of investment operations, middle office, or fund accounting experience within a hedge fund, prime broker, fund administrator, or public accounting firm.
- Industry Knowledge: Solid understanding of hedge fund trade operations, including reconciliations, settlements, margin and collateral processes, and broker interactions.
- Technical Skills: Experience with Enfusion Integrata strongly preferred, with strong Excel skills and comfort working across multiple operational systems.
- Skills & Attributes: Detail-oriented, analytical professional with strong organizational skills, the ability to manage daily operational workflows, and a collaborative mindset in a fast-paced hybrid environment.
