Atlantic Group is hiring a Trade Operations Analyst/Associate in New York, NY for our client. This hybrid role supports front-to-back trade operations across equities, derivatives, credit, fixed income, FX, and commodities, including trade capture, reconciliations, risk monitoring, and process automation. Responsibilities as the Trade Operations Analyst/Associate:
- Trade Capture & Booking: Process third-party trade executions across equities, derivatives, fixed income, FX, and commodities, ensuring accurate and timely booking.
- End-to-End Trade Lifecycle Support: Monitor trade flow including confirmations, settlements, and issue resolution across operational and risk workflows.
- Risk Monitoring & Controls: Track trading policies, position limits, and operational controls while supporting daily risk reporting and exception escalation.
- Reconciliations & Broker Coordination: Reconcile trades against broker records, investigate discrepancies, and support reconciliation automation initiatives.
- Derivative & Reporting Support: Manage OTC confirmations and option lifecycle events while preparing operational and risk reports for investment and operations teams.
Qualifications for the Trade Operations Analyst/Associate:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field required.
- Experience: 3-6 years of trade, middle office, or investment operations experience within a hedge fund, investment bank, fund administrator, or asset manager.
- Professional Development: Progress toward CFA, MBA, or other relevant financial or technical certifications strongly preferred.
- Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of trade lifecycle processes across multiple asset classes, including derivatives and OTC instruments.
- Technical Skills: Advanced Excel skills required, with experience working with trade capture systems, portfolio management platforms, or reconciliation tools preferred.
- Skills & Attributes: Highly analytical, detail-oriented professional with strong problem-solving abilities, intellectual curiosity, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced investment environment.
