Job Overview – Vice President (Capital Management)
Compensation: $160,000 – $185,000/year + bonus
Location: New York, NY
Schedule: Monday to Friday (Hybrid)
Atlantic Group is hiring a Vice President (Capital Management) in New York, NY for our client, leading liquidity strategy, bank relationships, hedging activity, and financing programs across the platform. This hybrid role oversees cash management, credit facilities, funding structures, and financial risk exposure while partnering closely with investment, finance, and operations teams to support balance sheet optimization and capital efficiency.
Responsibilities as the Vice President (Capital Management):
- Treasury Strategy & Systems: Lead treasury policies, procedures, and treasury management systems to support scalable and efficient operations.
- Bank Relationships & Financing: Manage senior-level banking relationships and negotiate credit facilities, subscription lines, NAV facilities, and asset-backed lending programs.
- Liquidity Management: Oversee liquidity forecasting, cash positioning, and investment of cash portfolios across entities.
- Risk Management & Hedging: Execute foreign exchange and interest rate hedging strategies and advise investment teams on risk mitigation.
- Compliance & Counterparty Oversight: Ensure credit facility compliance and monitor bank exposure and counterparty risk.
Qualifications for the Vice President (Capital Management):
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field required.
- Experience: 7-15 years of progressive treasury experience within alternative asset management or related corporate finance functions.
- Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of money markets, financing structures, liquidity management, and hedging strategies.
- Technical Skills: Experience with treasury management systems, Bloomberg, and bank platforms, with hands-on exposure to negotiating and managing credit facilities.
- Skills & Attributes: Strategic, analytical leader with strong communication and influencing skills, sound judgment, and the ability to partner effectively with senior stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
