Job Overview – Investment Banking Analyst:
Compensation: $50,000 – $60,000/year + bonus
Location: Delaware County, PA
Schedule: Monday to Friday (Hybrid)
Atlantic Group is hiring an Investment Banking Analyst in Delaware County, PA for our client. This hybrid role supports M&A engagements through valuation work, financial modeling, industry research, and marketing materials. You will assist with due diligence, manage data rooms, analyze buyers, and support senior bankers through deal execution. Ideal candidates have strong analytical skills, investment banking or transaction services experience, and proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
Responsibilities as the Investment Banking Analyst:
- Valuation and Financial Analysis: Prepare valuation materials, including comparable company analyses, precedent transactions, and detailed financial models to assess performance and forecast growth.
- Industry and Market Research: Conduct comprehensive industry, market, and competitor research to support pitches, due diligence, and transaction positioning.
- Marketing Materials Development: Assist in drafting Information Memoranda, Management Presentations, and other client materials highlighting business fundamentals and growth opportunities.
- Buyer and Target Identification: Research and evaluate potential buyers, investors, and acquisition targets for active engagements.
- Transaction Management Support: Coordinate data room activities, manage outreach funnels, and prepare weekly client status reports to ensure smooth transaction execution.
Qualifications for the Investment Banking Analyst:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related field required.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of investment banking, M&A advisory, or transaction services experience, including valuation or financial due diligence work.
- Technical Skills: Advanced financial modeling skills with strong Excel and PowerPoint proficiency and solid knowledge of valuation methods and financial statement analysis.
- Skills & Attributes: Analytical, detail-oriented professional with strong communication, organization, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environments.
