Atlantic Group is hiring a Senior Accounting Manager in Montgomery County, PA for our client. This in-office role oversees corporate accounting operations, leads month-end close and financial controls, and supports the transition from outsourced to in-house accounting. You will also assist with the QuickBooks to NetSuite migration and manage technical areas such as stock compensation and capitalized software. Ideal for Big 4 audit professionals with SEC experience seeking a high-impact growth opportunity.

Responsibilities as the Senior Accounting Manager:

  • Accounting Leadership: Oversee daily accounting operations across cash management, accounts receivable, and accounts payable while ensuring accuracy and strong financial controls.
  • Month-End Close & Reporting: Lead close activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, variance analysis, and consolidated financial statements, while improving efficiency and shortening close timelines.
  • Process Optimization: Enhance and automate workflows for cash management, accruals, credit card expenses, and debt reporting to support scalable growth.
  • Systems & Migration: Direct the transition from outsourced to in-house accounting and manage the GL migration from QuickBooks to NetSuite.
  • Technical Accounting & Controls: Oversee complex accounting areas and strengthen internal controls to support accurate, compliant reporting.

Qualifications for the Senior Accounting Manager:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required (CPA strongly preferred).
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of Big 4 audit experience with SEC clients, ideally within public accounting or a public company environment.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting systems and ERP platforms (NetSuite preferred), with strong Excel capabilities.
  • Industry Knowledge: Experience in financial services with 10-Q/10-K reporting and SOX environments, and CECL exposure preferred.
  • Skills & Attributes: Analytical, detail-oriented leader with strong communication, sound decision-making, and the ability to excel in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
