Atlantic Group is hiring a Financial Reporting Supervisor in Chester County, PA, for our client. In this hybrid role, you’ll oversee financial statement preparation and SEC filings under GAAP and IFRS. Lead reporting staff, coordinate audits, and drive process improvements to ensure accuracy and compliance. Ideal for professionals seeking a leadership role in financial reporting.

Responsibilities as the Financial Reporting Supervisor:

  • Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and mentor reporting staff while setting goals and evaluating performance.
  • Financial Reporting: Review and approve financial statements, supporting schedules, and SEC filings such as 10-K/Q.
  • Client & Audit Coordination: Serve as the main liaison with clients, auditors, and internal teams to ensure timely, accurate deliverables.
  • Compliance & Controls: Oversee adherence to accounting standards, operational requirements, and internal control procedures.
  • Process Improvement: Drive efficiency through automation, technology enhancements, and continuous reporting improvements.

Qualifications for the Financial Reporting Supervisor:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics required.
  • Certification: CPA, CFA, or CA designation preferred.
  • Experience: 3+ years of accounting or financial reporting experience with proven supervisory or review-level responsibilities.
  • Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and SharePoint with preferred experience using reporting platforms such as Confluence, DFIN, or Workiva.
  • Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP, IFRS, and compliance requirements, with advanced knowledge of complex derivatives
  • Skills & Attributes: Detail-oriented and organized leader with strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills, able to manage multiple priorities and lead a high-performing team.
