Job Overview – Senior Financial Planning Analyst:
Compensation: $75,000 – $85,000/year

Atlantic Group is hiring a Senior Financial Planning Analyst in Philadelphia, PA for our client. This hybrid role focuses on financial planning, investment research, and tax strategy for high-net-worth clients. You will lead portfolio analysis, asset allocation reviews, and estate planning coordination while ensuring exceptional client service. Responsibilities as the Senior Financial Planning Analyst:
- Portfolio Management: Prepare monthly and quarterly performance reports while monitoring asset allocations and investment mix.
- Investment Analysis: Perform due diligence on mutual funds, ETFs, separate accounts, and hedge funds to support investment recommendations.
- Client Advisory Support: Develop client meeting materials, assist with estate and wealth transfer strategies, and ensure exceptional client service.
- Tax & Compliance: Prepare quarterly tax projections and client income tax returns (Forms 1040, etc.) while ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Transaction Management: Execute client money movements, trades, and transactions accurately and efficiently.
Qualifications for the Senior Financial Planning Analyst:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Financial Planning, Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field required.
- Licensure: Series 65 license required.
- Certification: Completed or pursuing CFP, CFA, CPA, EA, or similar professional designation.
- Experience: 2-4 years of experience in a registered investment advisory (RIA) or wealth management environment, focusing on high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth clients.
- Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong knowledge of financial planning platforms such as Tamarac, eMoney, Zephyr, or Portfolio Center.
- Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with Schwab and Fidelity custodial systems, market dynamics, asset allocation principles, and estate and tax planning concepts.
- Skills & Attributes: Detail-oriented and client-focused professional with strong communication, analytical, and multitasking skills.
