You’ll lead a reporting team, ensure GAAP and IFRS compliance, and collaborate with accounting, audit, and compliance teams. Responsibilities as the Financial Reporting Manager:
- Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor reporting staff, setting performance goals and supporting professional development.
- Compliance Oversight: Ensure accuracy and adherence to U.S. GAAP, IFRS, and evolving regulatory standards.
- Client & Audit Relations: Collaborate with clients, auditors, and internal teams to deliver timely, high-quality reporting.
- Process Improvement: Streamline workflows, enhance data accuracy, and strengthen operational efficiency.
Qualifications for the Financial Reporting Manager:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics required.
- Experience: 5+ years in private equity, hedge fund, or mutual fund reporting. Public accounting background and CPA are a plus.
- Skills & Attributes: Strategic, detail-oriented leader with strong analytical and communication skills, adept at managing teams and meeting tight deadlines.
