Atlantic Group is hiring a Senior Corporate Accountant (SEC Reporting) in Andover, MA for our client. This hybrid role manages SEC filings, financial reporting, and technical accounting for a global public company. You’ll prepare 10-Q and 10-K reports, oversee stock-based compensation, and enhance reporting processes. Responsibilities as the Senior Corporate Accountant:
- Financial Close & Reporting: Lead monthly and quarterly close processes, journal entries, and reconciliations for the corporate entity.
- SEC Filings: Prepare 10-Q, 10-K, and earnings release materials in compliance with U.S. GAAP and SEC regulations.
- Stock-Based Compensation: Calculate global stock-based compensation using Equity Edge (E*TRADE) and manage intercompany allocations.
- Audit & Compliance: Support audits by providing documentation, ensuring SOX compliance, and maintaining internal controls.
- Process Improvement: Streamline reporting processes and strengthen accounting efficiency across corporate functions.
Qualifications for the Senior Corporate Accountant:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required (CPA strongly preferred).
- Experience: 4+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably with multinational public companies or Big 4 public accounting firms.
- Technical Skills: Advanced Excel proficiency with experience in HFM, SAP S/4HANA, and Equity Edge (E*TRADE) for complex data management and financial reporting.
- Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of SEC reporting, U.S. GAAP, and financial statement preparation for publicly traded companies.
- Skills & Attributes: Analytical, detail-oriented professional with strong quantitative abilities, organizational skills, and the ability to communicate effectively across departments.
