Atlantic Group is hiring a Private Credit Operations Analyst (Fund Finance) in New York, NY for our client. This hybrid role supports fund finance and operations across private credit, direct lending, and BDC strategies. You’ll manage deal closings, credit facility activity, and liquidity analysis while partnering with administrators and lenders to ensure accurate reporting. Ideal for professionals with fund operations or middle office experience seeking hands-on exposure to structured lending and fund liquidity.
Responsibilities as the Private Credit Operations Analyst:
- Fund Operations: Oversee daily activities across private credit, BDC, and direct lending vehicles to ensure accurate and efficient transaction processing.
- Credit Facility Management: Support the negotiation, monitoring, and reporting of credit facilities, focusing on liquidity, borrowing bases, and compliance.
- Reconciliations & Controls: Perform P&L, cash, and position reconciliations across internal and external systems to maintain data integrity and resolve breaks promptly.
- Liquidity & Analysis: Prepare fund-level liquidity projections and borrowing base analyses to support capital optimization and BDC/RIC compliance.
- Process Optimization: Enhance workflows, strengthen internal controls, and streamline reporting and operational efficiency across teams.
Qualifications for the Private Credit Operations Analyst:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field required.
- Experience: 3-5 years in fund finance, operations, or middle office within a private credit fund, BDC, or investment banking environment.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in WSO, VPM, and Excel (advanced modeling preferred) with hands-on experience in OMS, Bloomberg, and Markit for data reconciliation and reporting.
- Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of credit facility management, borrowing base calculations, structured lending, and fund finance workflows.
- Skills & Attributes: Analytical and detail-oriented professional with strong communication skills, sound judgment, and the ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
