Compensation: $200,000 – $235,000/year + bonus
Schedule: Monday to Friday (Remote)

Atlantic Group is hiring a Vice President, Finance & Accounting for our client in a fully remote role. This executive-level position oversees all financial operations, accounting, and FP&A while partnering with senior leadership to drive financial strategy, forecasting, and capital planning. Ideal for a seasoned finance executive with deep expertise in corporate finance, financial reporting, and organizational leadership.

Responsibilities as the Vice President, Finance & Accounting:

  • Strategic Financial Leadership: Oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning aligned with organizational goals.
  • Executive Partnership: Collaborate with senior leadership and the board to deliver financial insights, scenario modeling, and strategic recommendations.
  • FP&A Oversight: Lead the FP&A function, developing models, dashboards, and reports to monitor performance and key financial metrics.
  • Capital & Risk Management: Direct capital allocation, financing strategies, and risk frameworks to ensure liquidity and financial stability.
  • Accounting & Compliance: Manage accounting operations, ensuring accurate reporting, GAAP compliance, and effective internal controls.
  • Operational Excellence: Optimize financial systems, policies, and processes to improve efficiency, scalability, and data-driven decision-making.

Qualifications for the Vice President, Finance & Accounting:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required (CPA strongly preferred).
  • Experience: 10-20 years of progressive accounting and FP&A experience, with proven leadership in wealth management or broader financial services.
  • Technical Skills: Skilled in financial reporting and ERP systems such as NetSuite, Sage Intacct, or Workday Adaptive Planning, with advanced Excel and data modeling proficiency.
  • Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of investment advisory, regulatory compliance, and multi-entity consolidations within the wealth management sector.
  • Skills & Attributes: Strategic, self-directed leader with strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills, adept at influencing stakeholders and driving organizational alignment.
