Compensation: $125,000 – $150,000/year + bonus

Atlantic Group is hiring an Operations Associate/Senior Associate (Fund Operations) in New York, NY (Hybrid) with our client, a leading alternative investment firm. In this role, you’ll support investment operations, trade settlements, and fund-level reporting while ensuring data accuracy across structured products and loan portfolios. Ideal for professionals with fund operations experience and familiarity with systems like Clearwater, SS&C Recon, or Singularity.
Responsibilities as the Operations Associate/Senior Associate:
- Platform Oversight: Manage the Singularity platform, ensuring accurate data, reconciliations, and reliable system performance.
- Deal & Transaction Management: Coordinate deal funding’s, monitor asset servicing, and maintain complete and accurate security master data.
- Reconciliation & Controls: Review daily reconciliations via Clearwater, resolve discrepancies, and ensure proper escalation of issues.
- Capital & Cash Activity: Oversee capital calls, distributions, and related cash movements between internal and external partners.
- Client Reporting: Prepare and deliver accurate reporting packages, meeting all client and investor requirements on schedule.
- Process Improvement: Collaborate with Technology and Development teams to automate workflows, improve reporting, and enhance operational efficiency.
Qualifications for the Operations Associate/Senior Associate:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field required.
- Experience: 4+ years of Fund Operations experience, with strong exposure to structured credit, whole loans, MBS, bank debt, or commercial mortgage loans preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Clearwater, SS&C Recon, and Singularity platforms, with advanced Excel skills and knowledge of data automation tools preferred.
- Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of fund structures, capital activity, trade settlements, and asset servicing across alternative investment vehicles.
- Skills & Attributes: Detail-oriented and analytical professional with strong communication and problem-solving skills, skilled in cross-team and client collaboration.
